The entire PRONIA consortium is happy to announce a major publication in Biological Psychiatry called "Traces of Trauma -- a multivariate pattern analysis of childhood trauma, brain structures and clinical phenotypes"  project paper . In this paper, we use the data from 7 European countries to show that that machine learning algorithms can distinguish fine-grained patterns of symptoms and brain volume that delineate different kinds of trauma. The study was funded by the European Commission and could have major implications not only for patients and basic science.
